How to change sleep timer on mac?

I'm watching a movie on my Mac, and I don't want it to sleep in the middle. Is there a way to set or change the sleep timer on my Mac so it stays awake for a specific duration?

My son uses a Mac and had this issue with it sleeping too fast. You go to 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' on older macOS), then find 'Displays & Lock Screen.' There you can adjust the slider for 'Turn display off after' and also check 'Prevent automatic sleeping...' options. It helps a lot!

On a Mac, you'll need to go into 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' for older OS versions). Look for 'Displays & Lock Screen' to adjust the display sleep. For overall computer sleep, especially on laptops, you might also check the 'Battery' settings. Ensure your Mac updates are done too for optimal performance.

These new machines are smart, but we can still tell them what to do, no? For your Mac's sleep timer, you will find it in 'System Settings,' under 'Displays & Lock Screen.' Adjust it according to your work, but also remember to take breaks for your own well-being.

Hey, don't worry, changing the sleep timer on your Mac is quite simple. Just go to 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' if your macOS is older), then navigate to 'Displays & Lock Screen.' You'll find options there to adjust the time before your display turns off and your computer sleeps. Take your time, you'll get it right.

On Mac, it's usually in 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' for older macOS). You go to 'Displays' then 'Lock Screen,' and there you can adjust how long the display stays on before turning off and the computer goes to sleep. Super handy for when you just step away for a bit!

Careful with Mac settings! You'll find sleep timers in 'System Settings' under 'Displays & Lock Screen.' It's important to set it right for your workflow. Like with managing PCOS, it's about finding the right balance and not making drastic changes without understanding the implications. So, read through the options carefully.

To adjust the sleep timer on your Mac, access 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' on older versions), then locate 'Displays & Lock Screen.' Here you can modify the duration before the display and the computer go to sleep. While this is a technical setting, it's good to ensure you also prioritize your personal sleep for overall health, consulting a doctor if needed.

Mac's sleep timer, eh? Don't want it to nap before you finish watching that cooking show! 😉 Go to 'System Settings' > 'Displays' > 'Lock Screen'. You can set the time there for how long before the display sleeps. If it's a laptop, check 'Battery' settings too for specific power plans.

Hello! For Mac users, changing the sleep timer is done through 'System Settings' (or 'System Preferences' for older versions). You'll typically navigate to 'Displays & Lock Screen' where you can set the 'Turn display off after' duration. On laptops, also check the 'Battery' settings for more granular power management options. It helps conserve energy and secure your device.
