How to catch tb?

Someone I know at work just got diagnosed with TB, and now I'm a bit concerned. What are the common ways people catch TB? I want to understand how it spreads.

TB is a serious infection, not something you want to 'catch'! It spreads through air from an infected person, so avoiding crowded, poorly ventilated places helps. If you suspect exposure or have persistent cough, fever, or weight loss, please get tested by a doctor. Home remedies won't work for TB.

Oh god, this topic makes me so anxious! 'Catching' TB is definitely not something you want. It spreads so easily through the air. If you've been around someone with active TB, or have a persistent cough and fever, it's so important to get tested immediately. Don't delay, that's what worries me most.

TB was very common in our times, and it was a very difficult disease. You 'catch' it from someone who coughs or sneezes. The most important thing is if you have a cough that doesn't go away for weeks, or fever and weakness, please go to a government hospital. They have good programs for TB. Early detection saves lives.

TB is transmitted through the air from an infected person, so it's not like you actively 'catch' it. Maintaining good overall health, similar to managing high BP, helps your body's immunity. If you experience persistent cough, fever, or weight loss, especially in areas with high TB prevalence, get yourself checked. Early diagnosis is critical.

TB is a bacterial infection spread through airborne droplets. You 'catch' it by inhaling these bacteria. If you have symptoms like a chronic cough (more than 2-3 weeks), fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss, immediately consult a pulmonologist at a good hospital. They will perform tests like chest X-ray and sputum tests to confirm.
