How to break a fever at home?

My wife has a fever and doesn't want to go to the clinic unless it gets worse. What are some reliable home remedies or methods to break a fever at home?

Please, don't ignore a fever that stays high or comes with other worrying symptoms. I once thought it was just a normal fever and it turned out to be dengue. Take your fever medicine, do the sponging, but if it doesn't get better in a day or two, or gets worse, see a doctor without fail.

Ho na, bukhar mein toh aaram karna chahiye. Ghar pe toh paracetamol lena aur bahut saara paani peena. Aur haan, geeli patti mathe pe rakhna bhi achha rehta hai, haan na.

At home, the fastest way is usually an over-the-counter fever reducer like paracetamol. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration, and lukewarm sponge baths can help bring the temperature down. Don't use cold water. If it persists beyond 24-48 hours or is very high, consult a doctor; don't delay.

Yaar, fever at home, first take a paracetamol. Actually, lots of fluids and light clothes are important. And if you feel like you're heating up too much, a lukewarm shower or sponge bath helps a lot. If it's still high after a day, doc ke paas jao.

As someone with diabetes, I'm careful about overall health. For fever at home, taking a paracetamol is standard. Ensure you're drinking non-sugary fluids like water or clear broth to stay hydrated. Avoid sugary drinks or fruit juices that can spike blood sugar. If fever persists, always consult your doctor.

For fever at home, amma used to always say to drink hot rasam and rest. Also, a warm towel on the forehead helps. But now, it is best to take a fever tablet and keep sipping warm water. If it doesn't go away, doctor's advice is very important, okay?
