How to break a 102 fever?

My son has a 102 fever and I'm getting worried. I gave him paracetamol but it's not coming down completely. What else can I do to bring down such a high fever?

Oh wow, 102 fever sounds really high! I've always heard about cold compresses and paracetamol, but never really had to deal with something that high myself. Is it safe to just use home remedies for such a high fever?

For 102 fever, first thing is to take a paracetamol tablet. Then, sponge bath with lukewarm water helps cool down the body. Keep drinking fluids, maybe ORS or nimbu paani. If it doesn't come down in a few hours, then definitely see a doctor, don't wait.

I've dealt with high fevers many times, it's scary but manageable. Take your fever reducer, and please, keep hydrated with water, clear soups, or coconut water. If it persists beyond a few hours or you feel very weak, don't hesitate, go to the emergency clinic. Better safe than sorry.

102 fever? Sounds like your body is trying to cook itself! Kidding aside, definitely pop a paracetamol and drink tons of water. If you start feeling like a tandoor oven, maybe call a doc. Stay cool (literally)!

Oh my god, 102 is really high! I would be so scared. Did anyone else experience such a high fever before? I always worry about seizures or something. Should they definitely see a doctor right away, or wait a bit?
