How to boost rem sleep?

I often wake up feeling like I haven't really rested, even after sleeping for 7-8 hours. I read somewhere that improving REM sleep can help. How can I boost REM sleep to feel more refreshed?

Beti, achhi neend bahut zaroori hai. Hum toh ghar pe raat ko light band kar dete hain jaldi aur garam doodh peete hain. Try karna, shayad achha lage.

Hey! Don't stress too much about it, that itself can mess with sleep. Just try to make your bedroom super comfy and dark, like a cave, haha. And maybe some calming music before bed? Hope it helps you chill out!

For better REM sleep, regular exercise, especially in the morning or early evening, can be super effective. Just make sure it's not too close to bedtime. If your doc says okay, try adding some jogging or yoga to your routine.

REM sleep? Bhai, sometimes I just want *any* sleep! But on a serious note, avoiding screens an hour before bed really helps. And maybe a cool, dark room? My wife swears by it, though I'm usually asleep before she can complain about the light.

I can only share what works for me; I found that having a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends, made a huge difference to how rested I felt. Also, no heavy meals right before bed. Always consult a doc for proper advice.
