How to avoid saggy skin from weight loss?

My friend lost a lot of weight and now has saggy skin, and I'm also planning to shed some kilos. I don't want to end up like that. Are there any specific things one should do to prevent loose skin when losing weight?

I can only share what worked for me, not giving medical advice haan. When I lost weight, I made sure to do strength training like 3-4 times a week. That really seemed to fill out the areas where I lost fat. Also, I drank a lot of water and used a good moisturizer daily. Helped me a fair bit.

Hey, it's completely normal to worry about this when you're on a weight loss journey. Don't stress too much, okay? Just focus on losing weight gradually, not too fast. Incorporate some strength training exercises and ensure you're well-hydrated. Your skin needs time to adapt.

Simple funda hai: lose weight slow-slow, not like rocket speed. Aur muscles banao. Gym jao ya ghar pe bodyweight exercises karo. Protein khaao, paani piyo. Isse skin ko support milta hai. Thoda bohot sag toh hoga hi, that's natural, but you can control it.

Expensive treatments for saggy skin are often not needed if you plan properly. Focus on consistent, moderate weight loss. You can find free workout videos online for strength training. Eat protein-rich foods, which don't have to be costly if you choose dals and eggs. And drink water – it costs almost nothing! Don't fall for marketing gimmicks.

Hey! I track my progress on MyFitnessPal and use a smart scale to see muscle mass. To avoid saggy skin, make sure your weight loss is consistent, maybe 1-2 lbs a week max. Focus on resistance training (there are great apps like Nike Training Club for free workouts) and hit your protein goals. Also, log your water intake; staying hydrated is key for skin elasticity!

Look, while saggy skin is often normal, if you notice any unusual texture changes, discoloration, or discomfort, please don't ignore it like I once did with a different issue. It's always best to just mention it to your doctor during your regular checkup. Better safe than sorry, always.

Honestly, I was so worried about this that it almost stopped me from losing weight! But after losing a good amount, yes, there's some skin looseness, but it's not as bad as the horror stories online. Just make sure your weight loss is steady, not crash dieting. And strength training is your best friend. Your body is amazing, it adjusts.
