How to avoid pain after exercise?

I've started going to the gym regularly, but sometimes I get really sore muscles the next day, which makes it hard to continue my routine. What can I do to avoid this pain after exercise, especially after a tough workout?

Yaar, post-workout pain is normal, but if it's too much, you need to rethink. Actually, for me, a good warm-up and cool-down are non-negotiable. Don't jump straight into heavy lifting, aur stretching toh must hai! Hydrate well too, that helps.

Ah, the joys of getting older and trying to exercise! These days, my body reminds me of every rep. Honestly, just listening to your body and not pushing too hard too fast is key. And a hot shower after, that's my secret weapon, haan!

Proper nutrition plays a huge role in muscle recovery. Make sure your diet includes enough protein for muscle repair, like dals, paneer, and sprouts. Also, anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric, ginger, and berries can be very beneficial. Avoid processed stuff, it hinders recovery.

After any physical activity, it's very important to allow your muscles to release. Gentle stretching, focusing on your breath, and a short shavasana can really help. Don't forget to hydrate with plain water or tender coconut water. This brings balance back to the body.

My father always says to warm up slowly before any work and cool down after. For exercise, this is even more important. A good massage with warm oil, like sesame oil, can also help soothe muscles. But for any persistent pain, I would always suggest speaking to a doctor, just to be safe.

Bete, don't rush into heavy exercises. Start slowly and build up. Many years ago, I used to get pain, but then I learned to gradually increase my activity. A good night's sleep is also crucial for your body to recover. Be patient with yourself.
