How to alleviate neck and shoulder pain?

I spend a lot of time on the computer for work, and lately, my neck and shoulders have been constantly stiff and painful. It's getting hard to even turn my head properly. What can help alleviate this neck and shoulder pain?

Please be very careful with neck and shoulder pain. I ignored mine for months thinking it was just bad posture, but it turned out to be a severe cervical disc slip that ended up requiring intense treatment. Please get an MRI or consult a specialist if the pain radiates down your arm.

I literally panicked last month thinking my left arm was going numb from a heart issue, but it was just muscle tension from a bad pillow! Don't stress too much, just use a thin pillow and do some light shoulder rolls. It usually resolves on its own in a few days.

My son developed bad neck and shoulder pain from carrying his heavy college bag and slouching over his phone. I made him start doing basic chin tucks and applied warm sesame oil every night. It really helped ease the stiffness, so do try to look at your daily posture.

I just recovered from a terrible neck spasm last week. What worked for me was completely stopping the use of high pillows and applying a cold gel pack for the first two days, followed by hot fermentation. Avoid doing any sudden neck twists.

Between my late-night work shifts and my terrible sleeping posture, my neck feels like it belongs to a statue. Honestly, half the time I sleep awkwardly on the sofa armrest and regret it for the next three business days. Just buy a memory foam pillow and hope for the best, guys.
