How to alleviate kidney stones?

My cousin just had a kidney stone removed, and she said the pain was immense. What are some ways to generally alleviate the discomfort from kidney stones? I want to be prepared if it happens to me.

I had a 5mm kidney stone last year and my doctor told me it would pass naturally if I drank 3-4 liters of water daily. Personally, drinking fresh coconut water and warm lemon water every morning really helped me. I avoided tomatoes and spinach completely until it passed.

Dealing with PCOS makes me extra cautious about calcium supplements and metabolic health, as they can sometimes contribute to stone formation. I highly recommend talking to a specialist to understand your stone type. Please don't rely only on internet tips.

Do not worry too much, my child. I have had three kidney stones in my lifetime and survived them all. The key is to cut down on extra salt, drink plenty of water, and stay active. It is painful but highly treatable, so stay positive.

Look, there is no magic trick to melt kidney stones in one day. Stop drinking carbonated sodas and reduce your sodium intake immediately. Drink plenty of normal water, and if the stone is big, go get it treated by a proper doctor instead of experimenting.

We often forget to drink water while working in air-conditioned offices. Just keep a 2-liter bottle on your desk and make sure you finish it twice during your shift. This simple habit helped me prevent kidney stones from recurring without any cost.

Don't blindly believe people who say beer or herbal juices will magically dissolve your kidney stones. Some stones are too large and can permanently damage your kidney if they block the flow of urine. Please get an ultrasound done and consult an actual urologist.

My urologist explained that there are different types of stones, like calcium oxalate or uric acid stones. He advised me to limit animal protein and high-sodium foods, and to never skip drinking water before sleeping. He said keeping urine diluted is the best defense.

Since thyroid conditions can sometimes affect calcium levels in the body, it is very important to get your thyroid and parathyroid levels checked if you get recurrent kidney stones. Please follow up with your doctor regularly and get timely blood tests.

Kidney stones ka dard bohot khatarnak hota hai, ho na? My brother had it and he used to drink a lot of water with lemon juice. But we must go to the doctor for proper scanning, otherwise, we won't know if the stone is actually passing or not.

My father suggested drinking barley water daily, which is a traditional remedy in our family to clear the urinary tract. However, we also consulted a urologist who prescribed specific medication to dissolve the stone. A balanced approach of family care and medical science works best.

My teenage son developed a small kidney stone due to lack of hydration during sports practice. I had to monitor his water intake strictly and cut down on junk food and extra salt. Please make sure your loved ones are drinking enough fluids throughout the day.

Haan, kidney stone ka pain toh sach me rula deta hai yaar. Maine toh dahi aur lassi peena shuru kiya tha thoda digestive system thik rakhne ke liye, and high sodium foods bilkul band kar diye na. Tum bhi thoda parhez rakho, jaldi relief milega.
