How to alleviate fever?

My son has had a fever since yesterday evening and it's making him really cranky. We've given him some paracetamol, but I want to know if there's anything else I can do to make him feel better and bring the fever down faster. He's only 5, so I'm a bit worried.

For fever, it's always best to consult a doctor, especially if it's high or lasts for more than a day or two. They can correctly diagnose the cause. Meanwhile, rest and keeping yourself hydrated with water or ORS is crucial. Avoid self-medicating without proper guidance.

Oh, fever can be so scary, right? Mere saath bhi hua hai, I get so anxious when I have one. Just remember to take it easy. Don't push yourself to do anything strenuous. Hope you feel better really soon!

Hey there! 👋 Fever is no fun at all! 😩 Definitely try to get lots of rest and drink plenty of fluids like nimbu paani or coconut water. A light, warm sponge bath can also help bring the temperature down a bit. Take care! ✨

Having dealt with fevers a lot, I can tell you that keeping cool but not shivering is key. A damp cloth on the forehead and neck helps. Also, light, easily digestible food like khichdi is good. If it's persistent, definitely see a doc.

Fever means zero sleep, which is the worst! 😫 My only advice is try to sleep. Seriously, just sleep. And maybe a cool compress for your head, that sometimes makes me feel slightly less miserable. Hope you get some good rest soon!

Whenever I get a fever, my mom always makes sure I drink lots of clear soups and get plenty of rest. That usually helps me feel a bit better. For me, it's about being comfortable and letting my body recover.
