Honestly, I used to get this every single week when I started my first job. What really worked for me was chewing on a little bit of saunf after my meals and not lying down immediately after dinner. Give it at least two hours before sleeping.

Bro, don't stress too much about it, acid reflux is super common because of our oily food. Just try drinking some cold milk next time it burns, it acts like an instant cooler. Also, skip the late-night spicy snacks for a few days.

Currently reading this at 3 AM because my own chest is on fire from dinner. Cold water and sitting upright like a statue is the only thing keeping me alive right now. Seriously, do not eat butter chicken at midnight like I did.

I have helped many people on this forum with this exact query. A very practical tip is to raise the head of your bed by a few inches or use an extra pillow. Also, keeping your dinner very light and low on spices makes a massive difference.

A lot of acid reflux actually comes from weak digestion and lying down too fast. Try eating smaller portions of food and add a gentle 15-minute walk after your last meal. It really helps move things along so the acid doesn't push back up.

Ah, the joys of turning fifty! Now even looking at a green chilli gives me heartburn. I just keep some gelusil handy, but nowadays a simple cup of warm jeera water in the morning keeps the fire in my stomach quite quiet.
