Introducing a ten-minute deep breathing or mindfulness session during the morning assembly can do wonders. In my experience, simple pranayama helps quiet the overactive minds of teenagers. Schools should focus on inner peace alongside textbook learning.

Schools must teach children the value of early morning routine and sitting in nature for some time. Having some simple almonds soaked overnight and warm milk can help steady their minds. But most importantly, teachers should speak to students with love and patience instead of just shouting for marks.

I think schools should stop ranking students so publicly, as it causes massive anxiety and low self-esteem. Having a dedicated counselor who is actually approachable, and not just there for name's sake, would make a huge difference. Let's make it safe for them to seek help.

Our pediatrician mentioned that early identification of learning disorders or anxiety is key. Schools should conduct regular mental health workshops and sensitize teachers about ADHD and anxiety symptoms. It is vital that schools work as a bridge between parents and mental health professionals.

Schools absolutely need to hire full-time, professional counselors and make counseling sessions normal for all students. It shouldn't be a taboo.

Schools must have direct ties with good local hospitals or child psychologists for emergency support. If a teacher notices a student withdrawing or showing extreme mood swings, they should advise the parents to consult a clinical psychologist clearly. Early professional intervention is always the safest route.
