How rare is neuroendocrine cancer?

A friend of mine was just diagnosed with something called neuroendocrine cancer, and I'd never even heard of it before. Is this a very uncommon type of cancer? I'm trying to understand more about it for her.

It is quite a rare type of cancer. For such specialized diseases, the most practical solution is to go to a major government hospital or cancer institute where they have specialized oncologists and proper testing facilities at reasonable rates.

This is definitely a rare condition, but any symptoms like unusual flushing, diarrhea, or unexplained weight loss should be checked. Please visit a specialist for your safety; early detection is always the best way to stay safe.

It is very rare, but these tumors can sometimes affect hormone levels in the body, which impacts metabolism. If diagnosed, one must be very careful about their diet and blood sugar management. Regular follow-ups with an endocrinologist and oncologist are crucial.

In my lifetime, I have rarely heard of this specific cancer, as it is very uncommon. If a family member is dealing with it, do not lose hope because medical science has improved a lot. Trust the doctors and keep a strong mind.

It is a rare condition. Please understand that home remedies like turmeric or special juices cannot treat this, as it requires specialized medical care. Eat simple, easily digestible food to keep your strength up, and follow your doctor's treatment strictly.
