How rare is appendix cancer?

I recently heard about someone getting appendix cancer, which I didn't even know existed. It made me wonder, how rare is appendix cancer? Is it something one should be concerned about?

My grandmother used to say that any pain near the stomach shouldn't be neglected, but we must not panic about the worst-case scenario. Appendix cancer is very, very rare, but if you have pain, please consult a good doctor near you instead of stressing.

I agree with others, it is incredibly rare. Don't let internet searches scare you, but definitely get persistent pain checked out by a doctor.

Hey, don't worry too much! It is actually extremely rare and most appendix issues are just normal treatable appendicitis. Keep calm and definitely let a professional handle the diagnosis! 👍

Listen to me, don't go down the Google rabbit hole and scare yourself. Appendix cancer is highly uncommon, almost unheard of for most people. If you or someone you know is having severe abdominal pain, just take them to a clinic to get it treated properly.

It is a very rare condition, actually. Eating a clean, high-fiber vegetarian diet keeps your digestive system happy and prevents normal appendix inflammation. If you feel bad pain though, food won't fix it, go see a doctor immediately.

It is extremely rare, but because I had severe appendicitis complications last year, I always tell people not to take abdominal pain lightly. If there is sharp pain or fever, please rush to the hospital immediately. Don't wait for things to get complicated.
