How piles look like?

Since last few days, I've been having some discomfort and it feels like something is not right down there. My uncle had piles and told me it's very common. I want to know how it actually looks like, so I can understand if it's the same thing.

They usually look like small, soft lumps or swollen cushions near the anal area, and they can sometimes bleed. I had to change my entire lifestyle and control my blood pressure to manage my overall vascular health. Please get a proper physical checkup done by a general surgeon.

Hey, please don't feel embarrassed to ask this. They can be internal and not visible, or external which feel like small, skin-colored or reddish bumps that might hurt when you sit. It is very common, so just book a quick appointment with a doctor and get it sorted.

From what I see in my practice, internal ones aren't visible unless they prolapse out, looking like pink, moist pads of skin. External ones are usually small bluish-purple swellings if a clot forms. Don't try to squeeze them, just use a soothing cream as advised by a doctor.

Usually, they feel like tiny grape-like swellings or extra skin around the area, and they can cause a lot of itching and discomfort. I always tell people in the group that diet is key, so drink plenty of water and eat high-fiber foods. But do get it verified by a doctor.

I tried sits baths and various herbal pastes, and while they gave temporary relief, the external lumps still looked like swollen red bumps. Home remedies only soothe the pain temporarily, but you need a doctor to see if they are grade 1 or grade 2 piles.

I am too scared to check properly, but do they always bleed or can they just be painful skin tags? I have a small, painful bump but there is no blood yet. Should I wait or go see a lady doctor right away?

Piles are basically swollen veins that look like small lumps or bulges. I had a gym buddy who got them from heavy straining during squats and not eating enough fiber. Keep your gut healthy with hydration and oats, but let a doc look at it first.

They often appear as small, sensitive swellings that can feel soft or firm depending on whether there is a clot. Since pelvic congestion can sometimes happen with other hormonal issues, I am always very careful. Definitely consult a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

Bro, I had these last year because of sitting for too long during exams. They look like small, reddish fleshy lumps near your anus and they can itch like crazy or hurt when you poop. Don't sit on it, just go to a general physician, they deal with this daily.

Please don't rely on random Google images or internet remedies to identify piles, because fissures and abscesses can look very similar but need totally different treatments. Go to a certified colorectal surgeon or proctologist to get a proper physical examination.

When I visited a specialist at Fortis, they explained that hemorrhoids can look like small, pinkish skin folds or purple bumps if blood is pooling. It is really important to ask your doctor clearly about the grade of your piles rather than guessing from pictures online.
