How pain is kidney stone?

My aunt had a kidney stone recently, and she described it as the worst pain she'd ever experienced. I'm curious to know how painful it really is. Is kidney stone pain really that bad?

Oh my gosh, kidney stone pain is supposed to be one of the WORST pains ever! 😫 Like, even worse than childbirth, some people say! It's usually a really sharp, cramping pain in your back or side, that moves down. It comes in waves and is just horrible. Hydration is key to avoiding it! 💧

Kidney stone pain is notoriously severe. People often describe it as the worst pain they've ever experienced, even worse than a broken bone or childbirth for some. It's typically a sharp, cramping pain in the back and side, below the ribs, that can radiate to the lower abdomen and groin. Tracking your hydration and dietary intake can sometimes help prevent them, but if it hits, it's an emergency.

Beti, gurde ki pathri ka dard toh bahut bhayankar hota hai. Log kehte hain maut se bhi zyada. Pet mein, peeth mein itna tez dard hota hai ki insaan let bhi nahi pata. Pehle toh log nimbu pani aur nariyal pani peete the bahut, kehte the nikal jayegi pathri. Par agar dard zyada ho, toh doctor ko dikhana hi padta hai. Bahut dard hota hai, dhyan rakhna.

Bro, my chacha had a kidney stone and he said it was the most excruciating pain of his life, like seriously next level. He was literally rolling on the floor. Apparently, it's super sharp pain in your back and side, then it kinda moves. Not something you wanna experience, trust me. Hydrate like crazy, guys!

My doctor explained that renal colic, the pain from kidney stones, is often described as one of the most severe pains an individual can experience. It typically presents as sudden, sharp, cramping pain in the flank (side and back), below the ribs, and can radiate to the lower abdomen and groin. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and blood in the urine. It comes in waves and doesn't get better with position changes. Immediate medical attention is always advised.
