How often to use anti dandruff shampoo?

I've been having dandruff lately and bought an anti-dandruff shampoo. The instructions aren't very clear on frequency. How often should I use anti-dandruff shampoo to get rid of this problem without damaging my hair?

Dandruff is so annoying, I've tried everything from curd to lemon before finally seeing a dermatologist. They told me to use anti-dandruff shampoo twice a week initially, and then reduce it to once a week once it's under control. Consistency is really important, don't stop just because it's looking better.

It's best to consult a dermatologist for severe or persistent dandruff. At a good hospital, they would first diagnose the type of dandruff. For anti-dandruff shampoos, the frequency can range from daily to once a week depending on the active ingredient and severity. Always follow the doctor's specific instructions.

It can be really frustrating and make you feel self-conscious when you have dandruff. I understand. Most anti-dandruff shampoos suggest using them 2-3 times a week initially. If it's severe or not improving, don't hesitate to see a dermatologist. It's okay to seek help!

For scalp health, along with a good shampoo, I find regular exercise and a balanced diet really help. Good blood circulation means a healthier scalp. For the shampoo itself, usually 2-3 times a week is recommended, but check the bottle's instructions.

My teenager had a lot of dandruff. The dermatologist recommended using a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo every other day for the first two weeks, and then reducing to twice a week. Make sure to massage it in and leave it for a few minutes before rinsing. It really made a difference for him.

Bhai, for dandruff shampoo, most common is 2-3 times a week. Read the bottle, it'll tell you. If it doesn't work, then go to skin doctor. Don't waste time on home remedies if it's bad.

The frequency depends on the active ingredient and severity of your dandruff. Some are for daily use, others 2-3 times a week. While product labels give a general guide, if it's persistent, a dermatologist's advice is definitely the best approach for a tailored regimen.

Ho na, dandruff is a common problem. My doc said for anti-dandruff shampoo, start with twice a week. Aur haan, leave it on for 5 mins, tabhi work karega. Phir jab kam ho jaye toh weekly ek baar. Works for me!

My scalp has been feeling really itchy lately, and I'm wondering if it's dandruff. If I start using anti-dandruff shampoo, do I use it like regular shampoo, or just leave it on for some time? And will it make my hair dry?
