How often to give infant tylenol for fever?

My 8-month-old has a mild fever and the doctor prescribed infant Tylenol. I gave her the first dose but I'm not sure about the timings. How often can I give infant Tylenol for fever without it being too much?

Oh, this is a tricky one. My baby is due soon, so I'm trying to learn everything. Is there a specific type of Tylenol for infants, or is it just a smaller dose of the regular one? So many things to know!

It's usually every 4-6 hours, but check the exact dosage on the bottle based on your baby's weight. My little one gets fever sometimes, and it's always stressful. A cold compress on the forehead also helps sometimes.

It's good you're asking. Always follow the instructions on the package very carefully, or even better, call your pediatrician once to confirm. They can give the right advice.

Please, please just call your pediatrician. Don't rely on internet advice for a baby's fever medicine. I once thought it was a small cold, and it turned out to be something more serious. Better safe than sorry, always.

Don't guess with infant meds. The packaging has clear weight-based dosing. If the fever is high or not coming down, call your doctor. Seriously, no risks with babies.

Haha, I remember those days. You're so tired you can barely read the label. But please, read it like your life depends on it! Or better, ask your spouse to read it twice. My doc said 4-6 hours but always check the baby's weight.
