How often should see rheumatologist for rheumatoid arthritis?

I've been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis for years, and my rheumatologist appointments feel very far apart sometimes. My joints have been aching more than usual lately. How often should someone with RA typically see their rheumatologist for monitoring and treatment adjustment?

Honestly, for something like RA, you really shouldn't be trusting random internet advice. Your rheumatologist knows your specific case. Always follow their schedule, don't try to guess or use some 'miracle cure' you saw online. Serious condition hai bhai.

For my sister who has RA, her doctor usually sets appointments every 3-6 months depending on how she's doing and what medicines she's on. But if she has a flare-up or new symptoms, she calls them right away for an earlier check. Every case is different, so it's best to follow what your own doc says.

Ugh, another doctor appointment to remember? Same here, my brain feels like soup most days. But seriously, with RA, I just stick to whatever schedule my doc gives me. Don't want to mess around with joint pain, especially when I'm already so tired!
