How often should a 3 month old sleep?

My 3-month-old is starting to have longer stretches of wakefulness, and I'm not sure if it's normal. I heard babies sleep a lot at this age. How often should a 3-month-old baby usually sleep during the day and night?

A 3-month-old, bless their tiny hearts, still needs a good amount of sleep, like 14-16 hours in a 24-hour day! It's like they're storing up energy for all the giggles and development. It might still be in a few chunks, not one long stretch, so enjoy the small breaks you get for your own chai!

I totally get why you're asking, sleep is a hot topic with babies! A 3-month-old will typically sleep around 14-16 hours in 24 hours. They might start having slightly longer stretches at night, but naps during the day are still very important. Don't compare with other babies, every child is different.

For a 3-month-old, adequate sleep is as crucial as proper nutrition for their healthy growth. They generally require 14-16 hours of sleep daily, including naps. Ensuring they are well-fed with breast milk or formula at appropriate intervals supports their sleep patterns. Consult your pediatrician if you have specific concerns about their feeding or sleep.

It's so easy to worry about every little thing with a baby, especially sleep! A 3-month-old usually sleeps for about 14-16 hours a day, but it's often broken up, not one big chunk. It's totally normal if they're still waking up at night. If you're feeling anxious, talking to your pediatrician can give you a lot of peace of mind.

Oh, the sleep journey with a baby! A 3-month-old still needs around 14-16 hours of sleep. I used to give my baby a warm bath and a gentle oil massage before bedtime, and it really helped them settle. Just make sure they're comfortable and feeding well, and if anything seems off, don't hesitate to check with their doctor.

A 3-month-old infant generally sleeps between 14-16 hours in a 24-hour period, comprising both nighttime sleep and several naps during the day. While some may start sleeping longer at night, consistent patterns are not yet established. For any specific concerns about your baby's sleep or development, a consultation with your pediatrician is always recommended.

Just like our bodies need rest after a good workout, a 3-month-old's body needs a lot of sleep for its incredible growth and development! They typically sleep 14-16 hours a day. It's not usually one long stretch, but a combination of naps and nighttime sleep. Ensure they're getting enough to eat and are comfortable.
