How often can you use red light therapy for pain?

I've been dealing with chronic back pain for a few months now, and a friend suggested red light therapy. I bought a device, but I'm not sure how often it's safe or effective to use it for pain relief. Don't want to overdo it.

Initially, I was super skeptical and worried about using any new therapy. But for red light, after researching a lot, many sources suggest daily or every other day for 10-20 minutes, especially when starting out for pain. Once it's better, you can reduce it. It's quite gentle, so don't stress too much about 'overdoing' it like meds.

Dealing with chronic pain is such an emotional battle, and finding relief feels like a constant search. Red light therapy, from what I've heard, is generally safe to use frequently, like several times a week. But for persistent or severe pain, it’s really important to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor, so you know what you’re actually treating.

I used to just ignore my pain or try quick fixes, and it only made things worse in the long run. For red light therapy, generally, you can use it daily for short sessions, maybe 10-15 minutes, but it's not a substitute for proper medical evaluation. If you're in pain, please, please get it checked out by a doctor first to know what's causing it.

For something like red light therapy, please exercise caution. While it might sound harmless, any therapy for pain should be guided by a doctor, especially if the pain is severe or chronic. I once tried an alternative therapy without proper medical advice and it aggravated my condition. Always best to consult a specialist first to avoid any complications.

Honestly, there's so much stuff online about 'miracle cures' these days. Red light therapy might have some benefits, but how often to use it for *your* specific pain? Don't trust random blog posts. If you're serious about it, ask a real doctor or a physiotherapist who understands your condition. They can tell you if it's right and what frequency.
