How much turmeric causes kidney stones?

I love adding turmeric to almost everything I cook because of its health benefits. However, someone recently told me that too much of it can be harmful. I'm a bit concerned now, how much turmeric causes kidney stones?

I totally get why you'd be concerned about this, especially with all the health advice flying around! While turmeric is great, consuming extremely high amounts of anything can have side effects. There's not a common 'dose' of turmeric that typically causes kidney stones in healthy people, but if you're prone to stones, it's wise to discuss with your doctor. Moderation is always key.

Oh, that's an interesting question! 🤔 Turmeric is usually known for its health benefits, not for causing kidney stones! Generally, normal culinary amounts or even typical supplement doses shouldn't be an issue for most people. But if someone has a history of kidney stones, they might want to ask their doc about high oxalate foods and supplements. Always good to check! 😊

Regarding turmeric and kidney stones, this is a question for a nephrologist or a urologist, especially if you have a history of stones. While turmeric has oxalates, the amount in typical consumption is usually not considered a high risk for most. Don't rely on internet rumors; get clear advice from a specialist at a good hospital.

Oh god, this is a new thing to worry about! I take turmeric every day for immunity. Now I'm anxious about kidney stones! From what I understand, turmeric has oxalates, but usually, it's not a problem in normal food amounts. If you're prone to stones or taking huge supplements, you should definitely talk to your doctor, don't overthink it like me!

Bro, turmeric causing kidney stones? I thought it was super healthy. I put it in my milk and dal almost daily. I guess anything in excessive amounts can be bad, right? But I haven't heard of normal use causing stones. Maybe if you're taking like, huge supplement doses? Better ask a doc.
