How much sugar should a diabetic consume daily?

My husband has diabetes and he misses his morning tea with sugar. We use artificial sweeteners, but I wonder if he can have a tiny bit of real sugar sometimes. How much sugar can a diabetic safely consume daily?

Yo, my friend's dad is diabetic, and he says his doctor told him to basically avoid all 'white sugar' things. Like, no colas, no mithai. He still eats fruits, but in limits. So I guess minimal to zero added sugar is the way to go for them.

I was pre-diabetic and my doctor told me to cut out all added sugar completely. It was hard initially, but honestly, it made a huge difference. I focused on natural sugars from fruits in very small portions. It's best to follow your doctor's specific advice based on your levels.

This is a very common question, dear. For someone with diabetes, it's not just about sugar but also overall carb intake. The best approach is to consult an endocrinologist or a certified dietician. They will assess your condition and provide a tailored meal plan, which is crucial for managing diabetes effectively.

Hi there! 😊 For diabetics, it's really important to get personalized advice from their doctor or a dietician. General guidelines say to significantly limit added sugars, but the exact amount depends on individual factors. Stay positive and proactive! ✨

Bhai, for diabetics, simple answer hai: very, very little. Best hai to completely avoid added sugar. Jo natural sugar fruits mein hota hai, wo bhi limit mein. Don't take risks, talk to your doctor. No compromises when it comes to health.

From my experience with mindful eating and overall well-being, for a diabetic, it is truly best to keep refined sugar to an absolute minimum, ideally avoiding it. Focus on whole, natural foods. A calm mind and good diet work hand in hand, but consult your medical practitioner for precise dietary needs.

Ah, the eternal question! For a diabetic, 'how much' usually means 'as little as your willpower allows, and definitely consult your doc.' My doctor gave me a strict 'no added sugar' rule, and sometimes I feel like I'm living in a sugar-free prison. But health first, I guess!
