How much sugar does a diabetic need?

My brother is diabetic and sometimes his sugar levels drop. I've heard that they still need some sugar. How much sugar does a diabetic actually need to function properly or in case of a low?

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Diabetics don't really 'need' added sugar, honestly. Our bodies can get enough natural sugar from fruits, veggies, and carbs. So, it's more about smart eating and portion control. Your doctor or a dietician will give you the best personalized plan, so hit them up!

How much sugar does a diabetic need? Enough to make their doctor sigh, apparently! Haha. Jokes aside, ideally, a diabetic needs almost no added sugar. Natural sources are fine in controlled amounts. It's a constant battle, but consult your doc for the exact daily allowance. My doc says my body 'needs' less stress, more sleep, and zero mithai.

Diabetics don't typically 'need' dietary sugar. The body produces glucose from complex carbohydrates found in things like roti, rice, and vegetables, which is sufficient. Added sugars should be almost entirely eliminated. Any specific allowance for natural sugars (like from fruits) would be very minimal and tailored by a doctor or dietician based on individual glucose control.

Actually, diabetics don't really 'need' extra sugar! 🙅‍♀️ Our bodies convert carbs from everyday foods into glucose, which is enough. Added sugars are a no-no. But a little bit of natural fruit sugar might be okay depending on your levels. Always best to check with your doctor for a personalized plan! 😊

The phrase 'how much sugar does a diabetic need' is a bit misleading. Ideally, diabetics need very minimal to no added sugar. All the glucose needed is usually derived from other carbohydrates. This is a crucial health question, so please, always consult your endocrinologist or a registered dietician for a precise, safe answer tailored to your condition.
