How much sleep should teens get?

My son and his friends are always up late playing games or studying, and then they're exhausted in the morning. I tell him to sleep more, but he thinks he's fine. How much sleep should teens really be getting?

For teens, health apps and expert sources usually recommend 8-10 hours. It's a critical time for their development, both mental and physical. Tracking my sleep with my smartwatch really showed me how much difference quality sleep makes.

Please, make sure teens get enough sleep! I used to ignore my chronic tiredness in college and it led to so many health issues later. If a teen is consistently struggling, a checkup with a doctor is a must, don't just dismiss it.

Bhai, humare gaon mein toh bolte hain, bacche jitna soyenge utna sehatmand rahenge. Jawani mein bahut energy chahiye. 8-9 ghante toh aaram se sona chahiye. Phone se door rakho raat ko.

Adolescents typically require 8-10 hours of sleep per night for optimal cognitive function, mood regulation, and physical health. While general guidelines are helpful, if you have specific concerns about a teenager's sleep, consulting a pediatrician or sleep specialist is always the best approach.

It's so hard for teens to get enough sleep with all the academic pressure and social media! I remember feeling constantly tired and irritable. It's not just laziness, it's a real biological need. We need to be more understanding and help them prioritize rest.

Hi! For teens, 8 to 10 hours is very important. They are growing so fast, and their brains are developing. Make sure they have a dark room and no gadgets before bed. It might seem like a lot, but it really makes a difference in their mood and studies.

Teens really need their sleep, usually 8-10 hours. If a teen seems excessively tired or has irregular sleep patterns, it's a good idea to get a general health checkup, including thyroid function tests. Sometimes underlying issues can affect sleep.
