How much sleep should an adult get?

I've been feeling quite sluggish lately, even though I think I'm sleeping enough. My work is quite demanding, and I'm wondering if I should be aiming for more sleep. What's the standard recommendation for an adult?

Bhai, 7-9 ghante toh minimum chahiye hi chahiye. Kam soyega toh din bhar mood kharab rahega aur kaam bhi nahi kar payega. Apne body ki sun, zyada oversmart nahi banne ka.

Adults should aim for 7-9 hours. What you eat also affects your sleep quality. Heavy meals close to bedtime or too much caffeine can disrupt it. A light, early dinner helps.

Honestly, I try for 7-8 hours but sometimes late-night snacks call to me, haha! But yeah, the days I actually get proper sleep, I feel so much better. Less craving for junk food too, surprisingly.

It's so frustrating when you *know* you need more sleep but life just gets in the way. I used to beat myself up for not getting 8 hours. But even 7 hours consistently can make a big difference, don't feel guilty if you can't always hit the ideal.

I totally get it, trying to figure out the right amount of sleep can be tricky with our busy lives. Generally, 7-9 hours is what most adults need to function well. Don't compromise on it if you can help it!

For general adults, 7-9 hours is the standard recommendation. However, individual needs can vary. If you're consistently feeling tired despite adequate sleep, it's always best to consult a doctor, perhaps at a reputable hospital, to rule out any underlying issues.
