How much sleep should a 10 year old get?

My daughter, who is 10 years old, seems to be growing very fast, but she often stays up late reading. I'm concerned about her health and development. How many hours of sleep should a 10-year-old ideally get?

For a 10-year-old, around 9-11 hours is generally recommended, haan. My younger cousin used to get super cranky if she didn't get enough sleep, so we always made sure she was in bed on time. It makes a big difference to their mood and studies also.

Look, 9 to 11 hours is ideal for a 10-year-old. Best thing is a fixed bedtime, even on weekends. No screens one hour before sleep. Simple solution, but works wonders for my kids.

Oh, my nephew is 10 and he sleeps around 8-9 hours, sometimes less. Is that too little then? What can we do if he resists going to bed early, any gentle ways to encourage?

Typically, children in that age group, 10 years old, need between 9 to 11 hours of sleep. It's important for their growth and concentration. Try to establish a consistent sleep schedule; it really helps regulate their body clock.

For a 10-year-old, generally 9-11 hours is recommended. If you notice any unusual sleep patterns or if the child is always tired despite sleeping, it's best to consult a pediatrician. Don't take chances with a child's health.

My grandson is 10, and he needs a good 9.5-10 hours. We make sure he has a light dinner and maybe some warm milk before bed, it helps. If a child is constantly sleepy or has trouble falling asleep, and these home methods dont work, then doc ko dikhao.
