How much sleep does a 14 year old need?

I'm 14 and I have a lot of schoolwork and extracurriculars, so I usually get about 7 hours of sleep. My doctor said teens need more. Can you tell me how much sleep a 14-year-old should actually get?

Yaar, a 14-year-old actually needs quite a bit, like 8-10 hours. I remember my nephew used to be a zombie if he got less than 8. These growing kids need proper rest, warna din bhar cranky rehte hain!

For a 14-year-old, the recommended sleep range is typically 8 to 10 hours per night. It's important for their physical and mental development. Encourage a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends, to help regulate their body clock.

My son is 15 now, and when he was 14, we made sure he got at least 9 hours. What worked for us was no screens an hour before bed and a fixed bedtime. He was much more energetic and focused in school. Consistency is the real game-changer here.

Sleep is so vital for teenagers! A 14-year-old needs about 8-10 hours. My own kids are past that age now, but I always emphasized a quiet, dark room and keeping their phones away from bed. It makes a huge difference in their energy levels for the next day.

I can totally understand the concern about teen sleep. For 14-year-olds, 8-10 hours is the standard. We tried warm baths and reading before bed for my niece. The main thing is to make sure their environment is calm and free of distractions. It helps them unwind.

Hey there! For a 14-year-old, it's generally advised they get between 8 to 10 hours of sleep. It's a busy time with school and growing up, so good sleep is super important for their mood and studies. Just try to help them maintain a regular routine.
