How much sleep do you need by age?

My kids are all different ages, and my parents are getting older, so their sleep needs vary so much. Is there a general guide for how much sleep a person needs depending on their age? I'm trying to make sure everyone in my family is getting enough.

I'm 22, and I still feel like I need a solid 8 hours. My little cousin, he's 5, sleeps like 10-12 hours. And my grandpa, 70, only 6 hours. So yeah, it totally changes with age, that's for sure.

Chote bacche bohot sote hai, bade log thoda kam. Hamare gaon mein toh har umar ke hisaab se log apna time bana lete hai sone ka. Jab tak tan-man theek ho, utni neend theek hai.

This is a very important question because needs change drastically. Babies need a lot, teens a good amount, and adults slightly less. If you're concerned about a specific age group or noticing issues, always consult a doctor. Self-diagnosing based on general info can be risky.

Haan, it's very different! Kids need like 10-14 hours, teens 8-10, and adults 7-9. Mere ghar mein sabka alag time hai. Depend karta hai activity level par bhi, na. But generally, the younger you are, the more you need.

While there are general guidelines for different age groups, these are just averages. Never rely solely on internet charts for health. If you have specific concerns about a child's sleep or an older person's, discuss it with a doctor. They can assess individual health and lifestyle.

Yeah, I saw a chart recently. Infants need 12-16 hours, toddlers 11-14, school-aged kids 9-12, teens 8-10, and adults 7-9. It's crazy how much it changes! I'm always trying to hit my 8 hours, but sometimes it's hard.
