How much sleep do 17 year olds need?

I'm 17, and with exams coming up, I'm pulling late nights. My friends and I are always tired. How much sleep do 17-year-olds really need to function properly?

A 17-year-old's body is still growing, so ample rest is crucial. Around 8-10 hours is ideal. Gentle pranayama before bed, even 5-10 minutes, can help calm the mind and improve sleep quality. It’s not just about the duration, but also how deep the sleep is.

For a 17-year-old, it is generally recommended to have around 8 to 10 hours of sleep. A calm mind and a peaceful environment contribute greatly to restful sleep. Remember to stay positive and take care of your overall well-being, not just the hours.

Dude, when I was 17, I needed like 8-9 hours minimum to function properly. Less than that and I'd be tired all day. Board exams ke time toh mushkil ho jaata tha, but generally, good sleep is key for staying fresh.

I'm not a doctor, so I won't give medical advice, but personally, when I was 17, I aimed for 8-9 hours of sleep. I found that I performed better in school and felt less irritable with that much rest. Everyone is different though.

For a 17-year-old, around 8-10 hours is generally recommended. Poor sleep can affect appetite and even blood sugar levels. So, along with good sleep, a balanced diet and avoiding sugary snacks before bed are also very important for their health.

Hey! For a 17-year-old, they usually say 8-10 hours is best. But honestly, don't stress too much if it's not exactly that every single night. Just make sure they're feeling refreshed in the morning. Consistency is more important than hitting an exact number.

I just turned 18, so I was 17 very recently! For me, 8 to 9 hours was the sweet spot. Less than that, and I'd feel super groggy and couldn't concentrate in class. Trying to sleep at the same time every night really helped me.

Based on what my doctor explained, 17-year-olds typically require between 8 to 10 hours of sleep per night for optimal physical and cognitive development. It's crucial for their brain function and overall health. They also mentioned limiting screen time before bed for better sleep quality.

Most health guidelines suggest 8-10 hours for teenagers, including 17-year-olds. My sleep tracker also shows how much deep sleep I get, and honestly, a consistent sleep schedule works wonders. Try to set a regular bedtime and wake-up time, even on weekends.
