How much should a 7 month old sleep?

My 7-month-old is quite active during the day, but I feel like he isn't sleeping enough at night. My mother-in-law says it's fine, but I'm worried if his sleep schedule is correct for his age. What's the typical sleep duration for a baby his age?

At 7 months, a baby's mind is growing active, and they need about 12 to 14 hours of deep sleep to rest their system. Performing simple deep breathing yourself nearby can create a peaceful vibration that helps them settle down. Let them sleep naturally without any force.

My 7-month-old nephew is currently sleeping around 13 hours total, with two nice naps during the day. He is trying to crawl now, so he gets really tired by evening. It is so cute to watch, but a fixed routine is definitely starting to help him sleep better at night.

At 7 months, they usually sleep 11-12 hours at night and take two sweet daytime naps! 😴 They have so much energy now that they are sitting up, so they really need that rest. Happy parenting! 💕

My 7-month-old was sleeping about 12 hours but suddenly started waking up crying because of teething. We found that giving him a cold teether to chew before bed really helped soothe his gums. They usually need 12-14 hours at this stage, so hang in there.

I read that 7-month-olds should sleep 12 to 15 hours, but my baby only sleeps 11 hours and I am constantly worried it will affect his brain growth. Has anyone else experienced this? I hope we are both just overthinking, but it is so hard not to worry about every little detail.
