How much should a 6 week old sleep?

My baby is now 6 weeks old, and I'm still trying to get into a rhythm with her sleep. It feels like she sleeps all the time but still wakes up frequently. How many hours should a 6-week-old baby typically sleep daily?

At 6 weeks, they sleep about 14 to 16 hours. Don't worry about buying expensive sleeping gadgets or fancy cribs that promise better sleep. If you are worried about their health, a simple pediatric consultation at a local clinic is very affordable and will clear all your doubts.

My daughter went through a major growth spurt at 6 weeks and her sleep was all over the place, but she averaged around 15 hours. They are waking up more to their surroundings now, so they might struggle to fall asleep. Just keep the room dark and quiet to help them drift off.

At 6 weeks, babies sleep about 15 hours, but the constant night waking can really mess with your own sleep and raise your blood pressure. I had to be very careful with my lifestyle and get regular BP checkups during this stressful baby phase. Make sure you are also taking care of your own health.

A 6-week-old baby is naturally in tune with their body, sleeping around 15 hours to grow peacefully. Do not worry too much and let things happen naturally. Keep a calm and positive energy in your home, as babies easily feel our stress. Take care.

At 6 weeks, they usually sleep 14 to 16 hours. Try giving them a gentle warm oil massage before their bath to help them sleep better. However, if the baby has a fever, is crying constantly, or refuses to feed, skip the home tips and see your doctor immediately.

Hey, don't stress too much about the exact hours! At 6 weeks, they sleep around 14-16 hours, but some days will be totally crazy. Just go with the flow, sleep when they sleep, and remember you are doing an amazing job. This phase will pass soon!

My wife's doctor said a 6-week-old sleeps about 15 hours. While the baby is napping, we try to go for a light walk in the park with the stroller if the weather is good. It is a great way for parents to get some fresh air and light exercise while the baby rests.
