How much should a 4 month old sleep?

My 4-month-old used to sleep so much, but now she's more awake and playful. I'm wondering if her sleep needs have changed. How much should a 4-month-old baby be sleeping during the day and night combined?

When my baby turned 4 months, I noticed a big change in sleep patterns, so I asked my pediatrician at Max Hospital. He said 12 to 15 hours is standard, but some babies go through a regression. It is best to discuss it clearly during your next vaccination visit.

Typically, they need around 14 hours of sleep at 4 months. If you feel they are sleeping too little and want to get them checked, just visit your local government clinic first. Avoid expensive sleep consultants who charge thousands for basic advice you can get from any regular doctor.

Haan, 4 month ke baby ko lagbhag 12-15 ghante ki neend chahiye hoti hai. Is age mein unka sleep schedule thoda change hota hai na, toh raat ko shayad baar-baar uthein. Tension mat lo, yeh unka growth phase hai.

At 4 months, they sleep about 14 hours, but they also start getting easily distracted. I used to give my baby a gentle warm mustard oil massage before bed and keep the room dim. It worked wonders to help them settle down and sleep more peacefully.

Your little one is 4 months old now! 🥰 They usually sleep around 12 to 15 hours a day, including daytime naps. They are starting to explore the world, so sleep might be a bit playful now! 🌟

My 4-month-old suddenly stopped sleeping well, and I panicked thinking he was sick. But my doctor explained it was just a normal 4-month sleep regression and they still get their 12-14 hours eventually. Keep your calm, it is just a temporary phase and gets much better.
