How much rem sleep should you get every night?

I've been feeling very foggy-headed lately, and my sleep tracker shows my REM sleep is quite inconsistent. I'm wondering if I'm getting enough of it. How much REM sleep should you ideally get every night to feel refreshed?

Bro, my app says we need about 1.5 to 2 hours of REM. Honestly, during semester exams, I barely get that much total sleep, let alone REM. Trying to fix my sleep cycle but it is so hard with college life.

I used to get very low REM sleep, like under 40 minutes, and felt super groggy. I read that 20% is normal, so I started sleeping at a fixed time every day. Now my tracker shows a solid 1.5 hours and I feel so much sharper.

Haan na, around 1.5 to 2 hours of REM sleep is considered good. We worry so much looking at these smart bands daily. Just relax and sleep, our body knows how to manage itself naturally.

About 20% of your sleep should be REM. As someone with high BP, I learned that poor sleep directly affects hypertension. Make sure you get regular BP checkups and work on keeping your stress levels low for better sleep.

Ideally, it is about 1.5 to 2 hours. My REM sleep was extremely low because of my undiagnosed hypothyroidism. If you feel constantly sluggish, please get a thyroid test done and consult your doctor regularly.

You should aim for about 90 to 120 minutes of REM sleep every night! 🌟 Just try to wind down with some nice music or a book before sleeping, it works wonders!

Aim for 20% of your total sleep, which is roughly 90-120 minutes. Realistically, with busy schedules, focus on sleep hygiene—no phones before bed and a dark room—to maximize whatever sleep you get.

Usually, 2 hours of REM is good for the brain. I struggled with poor sleep for years and found that keeping my bedroom cool and drinking a little warm nutmeg milk before bed helped me get deep, restful dreams.

I ignored my poor sleep quality for a long time, thinking it was just work stress, until it led to severe health complications. Normal REM is 1.5 to 2 hours. If your sleep feels unrefreshing, please go see a doctor, do not delay like I did.

I was getting barely 45 minutes of REM and waking up with severe brain fog. I worked with a sleep specialist, corrected my routine, and now I easily touch 1.5 hours. My daily energy has completely returned.
