How much money is a kidney?

This is a bit of a morbid question, but I've always been curious after watching some documentaries. What is the approximate value of a human kidney on the black market or for research?

Our organs are precious gifts of nature and have no monetary value. Please do not think of organs in terms of money; practice daily pranayama and keep your body healthy and pure.

You cannot buy or sell a kidney in India as it is strictly illegal and a punishable crime. If someone in your family needs a transplant, you must go through official government hospital registries for a legal donor.

My uncle went through a legal kidney transplant last year through authorized channels. There is absolutely no price tag involved, and paying anyone for an organ is a severe legal offense.

Unless you are trying to buy the latest iPhone, please don't price your organs! Jokes aside, organ trading is highly illegal, so keep both your kidneys safe and healthy.

When my relative needed a kidney transplant, we learned that buying one is strictly illegal. The legal hospital process is long and requires matching family donors, but it is the only safe way.

Let's be direct: selling a kidney is a major crime under Indian law. Anyone trying to quote a price to you is running an illegal racket, so stay far away from them.

At my age, my kidneys are probably not worth much anyway! But seriously, organ trade is a crime, so let's just focus on drinking enough water and keeping our blood pressure normal.
