How much lorazepam for sleep?

My doctor prescribed something for my anxiety and trouble sleeping, and I think it was lorazepam. I'm just curious about the general dosage for sleep if anyone knows.

Beta, lorazepam is a very strong medical drug, not something you should take just like that for sleep. These habits can become difficult to leave later. Try drinking warm milk with a little cardomom or practicing calm breathing before sleeping, and consult a doctor if the problem persists.

Lorazepam is a prescription psychiatric medicine and can be highly habit-forming, so only a doctor should decide its dose. Personally, when I had severe sleeplessness, practicing 15 minutes of Bhramari Pranayama and deep belly breathing helped me sleep naturally without relying on heavy sedation.

Hey bro, do not self-medicate with lorazepam, it's a heavy-duty prescription drug. My roommate was prescribed 0.5mg for severe anxiety by a psychiatrist, but he was strictly told not to use it daily. Better to just drink some chamomile tea or consult a doc.

I was prescribed lorazepam during a phase of clinical anxiety. The doctor started me on a very small dose of 0.5mg, but emphasized it was only for short-term use because the body builds tolerance quickly. You absolutely must get a doctor's prescription for this, don't mess around.

While looking up sleep aids, I learned that lorazepam is actually an anti-anxiety medicine (benzodiazepine) and not a primary sleep pill. Because of the risk of dependence, doctors usually avoid prescribing it just for insomnia. Definitely seek professional medical advice before taking it.
