How much is a fever?
My son felt a bit warm this morning, so I checked his temperature. I'm wondering what temperature is actually considered a fever. How much is a fever?

Haha, fever kitna hai? Sometimes it feels like a whole mountain, especially when you're shivering! But seriously, if it's over 100-101F, it's a proper fever. Keep an eye on it and stay hydrated.
I totally get why you'd ask this. A fever can be so scary, especially if it's high or lasts long. It's not just the number, but how you feel too. Don't hesitate to check with a doctor if you're feeling really unwell or it doesn't go down.
For adults, anything above 99.5-100 degrees F (oral) is usually considered a low-grade fever. If it goes above 101F, then definitely try some cold compresses and drink lots of fluids. But if it persists, better to consult a doctor, don't take chances.
Normal body temp is around 98.6F. If it's 100.4F or higher, it's considered a fever. Rest well.
Generally, 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is a fever. Keep a thermometer at home; it's a good investment. If it's high, sponge bath with lukewarm water helps, and lots of water. But if it's really high or you feel bad, just see the family doctor.
