How much does tylenol bring down a fever?

My little son has a fever, around 101°F. I gave him some Tylenol as per the pediatrician's suggestion. How much does Tylenol usually bring down a fever, and how long does it take to work?

Tylenol (paracetamol) helps reduce fever, usually bringing it down by a degree or two within an hour. Amma always says take a warm bath for fever, but for medicine, listen to your doctor. It works to make you feel comfortable while your body fights the infection.

Tylenol (paracetamol) is a common fever reducer. It usually brings the temperature down by 1-2 degrees Celsius within 30-60 minutes. It helps with comfort. But remember, it treats the symptom, not the cause. If fever persists, see a doctor, don't just keep taking medicine.

Hello! Tylenol, which is paracetamol in India, typically reduces a fever by 1-2 degrees Celsius within about 30-60 minutes after taking it. It doesn't usually bring it down to a completely normal temperature, but it makes you feel much better. Always stick to the recommended dosage and consult a doctor if the fever is high or lasts long.

Tylenol (paracetamol) can help bring a fever down, usually by a few degrees, making you feel more comfortable. It's a common medication. But please be cautious and never exceed the recommended dosage, especially if you have other health conditions. If fever is high or persistent, always see a doctor.

It's totally okay to feel worried when you have a fever and wonder how much medicine will help. Tylenol usually reduces fever by about one or two degrees and helps relieve discomfort. Just be sure to take the correct dose and don't hesitate to consult a doctor if you're very unwell or the fever doesn't come down.
