How much does a liver weigh?

For a biology project, I'm trying to find out some general facts about human organs. Can anyone tell me how much a human liver usually weighs?

My doctor actually explained this to me during a check-up. An average adult liver weighs approximately 1.5 kg, which is about 3.3 pounds. It's the largest internal organ and super important for so many bodily functions. That's why maintaining its health is crucial.

The liver is such a vital organ, right? I always make sure my diet is good for it, lots of greens and less processed food. From what I've read, a healthy adult liver usually weighs around 1.3 to 1.5 kg. It's amazing how much work such a relatively small organ does!

Interesting question! I track so many things on my health app, but not organ weight, haha. But yeah, from what I've seen in articles and health facts, a healthy adult liver usually weighs between 1.3 to 1.5 kg. It's amazing to think about the internal mechanics.

I was just looking this up actually! A healthy adult liver typically weighs around 1.3 to 1.5 kg. It's one of the heaviest organs, which makes sense because it does so much detoxifying work. Always good to learn new things about our body.

Oh, the liver? I think I just learned this in a bio class last semester. If I remember correctly, it's about 1.5 kg, roughly. It's pretty cool how much it does for our body, you know, processing everything. Mind-blowing stuff!

Hmm, a healthy adult liver is typically around 1.3 to 1.5 kilograms. It's quite significant in size, considering all the work it does. I try to manage my stress and eat on time to keep my organs happy. Important to keep it healthy.
