Hey, don't stress too much about the exact hours! Mostly they sleep around 2.5 hours during the day now. If some days they sleep only for 1.5 hours and are still giggling and playing, it is totally fine, chill out!
A 7-month-old needs about 2 to 3 hours of daytime sleep, usually split across two naps. Cut out the late afternoon nap if it's messing with their nighttime sleep. Keep a strict schedule and it will make your life much easier.

My smart sleep log show that 7-month-olds typically average 2 to 3 hours of day sleep. They should ideally be on a 2-nap schedule by now, with wake windows of about 2.5 to 3 hours. Tracking this really helped us prevent late-night bedtime struggles.
