How many types of skin cancer are there?

I'm always careful about sun exposure because of skin cancer risks. I know there are different types, but I'm not sure how many. How many types of skin cancer are there?

There are three main types: basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma. Please do not try to evaluate a weird mole using internet photos or home remedies. Get a dermatologist to look at it under a dermatoscope.

I read about melanoma being the most dangerous type of skin cancer, and now I am panicking over a small dark spot on my arm. Does anyone else get super anxious over every single skin change they notice?

There are three main types of skin cancer. While protecting your skin naturally with aloe vera and staying out of harsh afternoon sun is helpful, you must see a doctor if you notice any bleeding or growing spots.

There are three main types, but honestly, reading about basal cell and melanoma at 3 AM is just a recipe for zero sleep. Do yourself a favor, close Google and let a real dermatologist look at your skin tomorrow.

My health tracking app says there are three major types, with Melanoma being the rarest but most serious. Tracking any changes in your moles using a basic skin diary or taking monthly photos is a great way to stay safe.

Hey, don't stress too much about all the different types like basal or squamous cell. Most skin issues are totally benign, but it is always best to be safe. Just show it to a doc and get that peace of mind!

Look, it is basically divided into melanoma and non-melanoma types. Don't overcomplicate it. If you have a spot that is changing size or color, go show it to a skin specialist instead of stressing.

The dermatologist at Apollo Hospital explained that skin cancer is mainly divided into melanoma and non-melanoma (like basal and squamous cell). To know for sure, a proper biopsy is needed. Please consult a qualified specialist clearly.
