You can actually have TURBT multiple times if the bladder tumor recurs, as it is a common way to manage non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Keeping your body strong with clean nutrition and light physical activity helps immensely during recovery. Always coordinate with your oncologist for the best action plan.

My uncle had to undergo TURBT twice within two years because his tumor came back. The doctors told us there is no fixed limit, they can repeat it as long as the cancer hasn't spread deep into the bladder muscle. It is a standard procedure, so try not to panic.

This procedure can be done more than once if the doctors find it necessary. Along with the modern medical treatments, one should take good rest, drink warm water, and eat simple home-cooked food like khichdi to keep the stomach light. Always follow what the hospital specialists advise.

According to our urologist, TURBT can be performed multiple times to remove recurrent superficial tumors. However, if the cancer starts invading the deeper muscle wall of the bladder, the doctor mentioned that other treatments like chemotherapy or bladder removal surgery might be needed instead of repeating TURBT.

I just went through my second TURBT four months ago because a small growth appeared again during my regular cystoscopy checkup. My doctor cleared it out safely, and the recovery was quite similar to the first time. Regular follow-ups are the most critical part of this journey.
