How many thyroid glands do you have?

I was reading an article about hormones, and it mentioned the thyroid gland. It made me curious, how many thyroid glands do you have in your body normally? I'm just trying to understand the basic anatomy.

We just have one single thyroid gland, actually. It is butterfly-shaped and sits right at the front of your neck. If you are asking because of any throat swelling or hormone issues, just get a quick TSH blood test done.

I was just reading up on this yesterday! It is actually just one single gland located in the neck, though it has two sides connected by a middle part. Biology is so interesting, honestly.

Bro, it's just one gland in your neck. It looks like a little butterfly, learned that in school bio class. Why do u ask, studying for exams or got some health issue?

Oh god, I used to think we had two because it has two lobes on left and right! But no, it is just one single gland. Don't worry or overthink it, if you are feeling any weird symptoms or fatigue, just ask a doc to be safe.

I totally get it, medical terms can be so confusing when you are trying to understand your own body. We just have one thyroid gland in total. If you are dealing with any thyroid symptoms, please don't stress, it is very manageable with the right doctor.

Just one gland, buddy. It has two lobes so people often get confused. If you're having weight fluctuations or feeling super tired, get a thyroid profile test done instead of guessing.

It is just one gland in our throat. If you need to test its function, look for basic thyroid panel packages online, they usually cost around 300 to 500 rupees in most local labs. Don't pay extra for fancy packages.

It is just one thyroid gland that we have. My mother always says to drink coriander water for thyroid health, but honestly, if the doctor prescribes thyroid medicine, you must take it daily without fail.

We have only one thyroid gland, but things can go wrong if it gets enlarged or develops nodules. I had a severe swelling issue last year and had to get a proper ultrasound done. Please see an endocrinologist if you are feeling any discomfort or choking feeling.

It is just one gland, but it manages so much of our metabolism. Having PCOS myself, I know how easily these hormones can get linked. Always get your TSH checked if your periods are irregular, just to be sure.

We only have one thyroid gland, right? I was getting worried thinking what if there are multiple parts that can get affected. Has anyone else here felt extremely anxious before getting their thyroid reports back? The waiting part is so stressful.

Only one gland exists in our body. To keep it healthy, make sure your diet has adequate iodine from iodized salt. But if you already have thyroid issues, food alone won't cure it, you must consult a doctor.

There is only one thyroid gland in the body. Don't fall for internet articles claiming you can cure thyroid issues with random seed cycling or home drinks. If your hormone levels are off, only a qualified endocrinologist can guide you.

You only have one butterfly-shaped thyroid gland! 🦋 It is small but does super important work for our energy levels. Take care of it!
