How many people die from tb?

Someone in my extended family was recently diagnosed with TB. It's a disease I thought was mostly under control now. I was curious to know, how many people still die from TB?

TB is still a big problem, especially for people who can't afford proper treatment or diagnosis. The tests and medicines can be expensive, which is why early detection is important. Government schemes are there but still, it's a huge burden on families.

TB is a very serious disease, beti. Some people try all sorts of things at home, but for TB, only doctors and proper medicine can save a life. It's heart-wrenching to see people suffer. Please, if anyone has persistent cough, see a doctor, don't delay.

TB is a serious health challenge in India, and sadly, it still causes many deaths. It's important to complete the full course of medication if diagnosed, and to ensure good ventilation in homes. Simple hygiene practices can also help prevent its spread.

Don't take a persistent cough lightly. I ignored mine for weeks, thinking it was just a cold, and later found out it was a serious infection. Luckily, not TB, but it taught me a lesson. For TB, early diagnosis is super crucial for effective treatment. Please get checked!

TB is still a big illness in our villages. Many people get sick, and some even pass away. It is very important to get proper medicine from the government doctors. We tell everyone to finish their course of medicine fully. Don't leave it in between.
