How many people die from skin cancer each year?

My dermatologist advised me to be extra careful with sun exposure because of my fair skin. It got me thinking about the severity of skin cancer. Just wondering, on average, how many lives it claims each year.

It's a valid concern, but instead of focusing solely on the numbers, let's remember that many skin cancers are highly treatable if caught early. The key is regular self-exams and seeing a doctor for anything suspicious. Protect your skin, and don't hesitate to seek help.

Put some haldi (turmeric) and besan (gram flour) for skin health, but for serious things like this, only a doctor can help. If you see something wrong, don't wait. Our elders always said to respect the sun, but also protect ourselves from its harshness.

I really regret ignoring a sun spot on my hand for ages. Thought it was just aging skin. Turns out, it was precancerous. Luckily, it was caught in time. Don't be foolish like I was. If you have any doubt, get it checked by a doctor. Seriously.

While my fitness tracker doesn't warn me about sun exposure directly, understanding the risks of skin cancer makes me more diligent about using SPF. There are even apps now that can help you track moles. It's about being proactive with all aspects of health.

Any health issue, including skin cancer, needs attention. Just like how I manage my thyroid with consistent doctor visits and tests, any changes on your skin should be checked out by a specialist. Don't self-diagnose or delay; early intervention makes all the difference.

Globally, skin cancer mortality is a concern, but it's important to differentiate between types. Melanoma is the most dangerous. The good news is, most skin cancers are highly curable with early detection and treatment. So, be diligent with sun protection and regular skin checks!
