How many pain relievers can kill you?

I accidentally took an extra pain reliever once and got a bit worried. I'm wondering, how many pain relievers can actually lead to serious harm or even be fatal? It's important to know the limits.

This is a very serious question, and the answer is not something you should ever test. Just like with diabetes, where I have to be very careful with every food item and its impact on my sugar, pain relievers have very strict dosages. Exceeding the prescribed amount, even slightly, can cause severe organ damage or be fatal. Please, if you or someone you know is struggling, seek immediate professional medical or mental health help. Don't take risks.

I can only share my perspective. I've always been taught that medicine is powerful and must be respected. For pain relievers, I strictly follow the package instructions. If it says 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours, that's what I do. Taking more is absolutely dangerous and I would never recommend it. If the pain is too much, I go to the doctor, not take extra pills.

I understand the urgency behind such a question, and it's truly alarming. When I was going through a tough time, I had many dark thoughts. But please know that help is available. Don't try to find answers here; instead, reach out to a professional. A doctor or a mental health helpline can provide the support you need. Things can get better.

Beta, pain relievers are not like home remedies; they are strong chemicals. Even a few more than prescribed can harm your body greatly, or even be fatal. If you are in such pain or distress that you are asking this, you must, without delay, go to a hospital or talk to a doctor. Please do not risk your precious life.
