How many oranges can a diabetic eat per day?

My doctor said fruits are okay for diabetes in moderation. I love oranges, but I'm careful about sugar. How many oranges can a diabetic eat per day without it impacting their blood sugar too much? Just trying to manage my diet better.

Haan na, oranges are so refreshing. My doctor said one medium orange a day is usually okay for diabetics because of the fiber. But don't go for juice, that's just sugar without the good stuff. Maybe have it as a mid-morning snack instead of with a big meal.

As a working professional, I barely have time to count my oranges, but my nutritionist told me one small orange a day is generally fine. It's better than juice, as you get the fiber. Just make sure it's eaten whole and not as a concentrate. Stick to one and you should be good.

It's totally normal to feel anxious about every single food item when you have diabetes, I went through that too. For oranges, I was told one small to medium one is usually acceptable. Just monitor your blood sugar afterwards to see how your body reacts personally. Everyone is different.

I can only share what I do. I have diabetes, and I eat one small orange a day sometimes, especially in winter. I make sure to eat it whole, not juiced. It seems to keep my sugars stable, but this is just my personal experience. Please check with your doctor.
