How many olives can a diabetic eat?

I have type 2 diabetes and heard that olives are good for health. I want to add them to my diet, but how many olives can a diabetic safely eat in a day? Don't want to mess up my sugar levels.

Oh, that's an interesting question! I was wondering the same thing. I love olives in salads but always hesitate thinking about the salt content. I guess because they're healthy fats, maybe a few are okay? Let's see what others say.

Namaste. Olives are natural and good for the body, rich in healthy fats. For a diabetic, moderation is key for everything. I usually have maybe 5-6 olives with my meals, slowly, mindfully. It helps with satiety. Always observe how your body feels after.

Yaar, olives are actually pretty good for you. My dietician said thoda chalega. I mean, not a whole jar, obviously, but like 7-8 olives in your salad or with some cheese is fine. Just check the sodium if you have BP also. Otherwise, chill maro.

Beti, olives are good for health, no doubt. But for madhumeh (diabetes), everything in limits. My nani used to say, 'jo cheez achhi lage, usko thoda hi khaana.' A few, maybe 5-6 with your meal, like a pickle. Just make sure they are not too salty. Natural cheezein achhi hoti hain.

Honestly, for anything related to diabetes and specific food quantities, it's always best to consult your doctor or a dietician. What works for one person might not work for another. They can give you personalized advice based on your blood sugar levels and overall health. Don't take chances.
