How many minutes of deep sleep should you get?

Lately, I've been feeling quite tired even after sleeping for 7-8 hours. I heard deep sleep is very important. So, how many minutes of deep sleep should a person ideally get each night?

I've struggled with sleep so much, so I totally get wanting to know these specifics. For deep sleep, typically 15-25% of your total sleep should be deep sleep. So if you sleep 7-9 hours, that's roughly 1 to 2.5 hours. Things like avoiding screens before bed and a dark room really help, I've found.

Dude, deep sleep is like, the holy grail, right? My fitness tracker always shows I barely get enough, probably all the late-night studying. From what I've heard, like 1.5 to 2 hours of deep sleep is good for adults. But honestly, any sleep is a win for me these days, lol.

Deep sleep is super important for feeling fresh, no? Generally, they say you need about 1.5 to 2 hours of deep sleep in a 7-8 hour sleep cycle. Simple things like a quiet, dark room, fixed bedtime, and avoiding heavy meals late can actually improve your deep sleep without any cost.

I totally get it, wanting to optimize every aspect of sleep! For deep sleep, aiming for around 1 to 2 hours a night is a good target for adults. It’s when your body truly repairs. Don't stress too much about exact numbers, but focus on creating a consistent, relaxing bedtime routine to help you achieve that quality rest.

As a working professional, I prioritize my sleep. Ideally, adults should aim for 1-2 hours of deep sleep per night, which is about 15-25% of your total sleep. It's crucial for recovery. Try to maintain a consistent sleep schedule even on weekends, it really makes a difference to get that quality deep sleep.

With my thyroid issues, sleep quality is so important, and I always discuss it with my doctor during my regular check-ups. Generally, they say 1-2 hours of deep sleep is good for an adult. If you're constantly feeling tired even after enough hours of sleep, it's worth getting your thyroid and other factors checked by a doctor.

Based on my fitness tracker, I usually get about an hour and a half to two hours of deep sleep if I've had a really good night. But I'm just sharing my experience, not giving advice. Everyone's different, so maybe try tracking yours and see if you feel rested.
