How many mental health days can you take from work?

Work has been quite stressful recently, and I heard some of my colleagues mention taking mental health days. I was wondering how many mental health days one can usually take from work.

For my son, his company has a specific policy for mental health leaves, which is good. It varies a lot by company and even industry. You need to check your HR policy document or talk to your manager discreetly. Taking time for yourself is not a luxury, it's a necessity sometimes.

Ho na, this is becoming more common now, which is good. Most companies club them with sick leaves or have a separate provision. Check your company's HR policy document; it will have all the details. It's important to take that break when you need it.

Oh, I didn't even know companies offered these! That's really nice. Do you need a doctor's note for them, like for sick leaves, or is it different? I'm curious how it works.

Yay for mental health days! 🧘‍♀️ Most progressive companies are offering them now, either separately or within your overall sick leave quota. Definitely check with your HR department for the exact numbers and process! It's so important to recharge. ✨

I can only speak for my company, but we get a certain number of 'personal days' which can be used for anything, including mental health. It's not explicitly called mental health days, but it serves the same purpose. Policies really differ, so your HR is the best source.

When I was young, there was no concept of 'mental health days', we just pushed through. But it's good that companies are recognizing this now. It's sensible to take a break when your mind feels tired. Check your company's policy, young ones.

I've been looking into this too! It seems to be a growing trend in companies, especially startups. It's usually part of the general leave policy or sick leave. Definitely worth asking your HR department about it.
